The gorgeous white cathedral in Pisa Italy is called the Duomo.  Construction of this magnificent Romanesque building began in 1063.  The Duomo in Pisa is also called St. Ranieri Cathedral or simply the Pisa Cathedral.

The Duomo is located in the heart of the Field of Miracles, between the Baptistery and the famous Leaning Tower of Pisa.  The bronze doors on the doors tell the story of Christ's life.
